Lunch in the woods.

mali golak hiking

An easy hike on a sunny day and one yummy traditional “jota” soup at the hut. Good times. We are re-discovering hills around Vipava Valley on the weekends that we’re spending in our hometown, so we re-visited Mali Golak last Saturday. Mali Golak is the highest peak of the Trnovo forest and is a popular hike for locals – it offers a lovely view plus the food in Iztok’s hut below the top is great, traditional and tasty. Our vizsla boy also got a piece of the sausage after behaving well and staying close to us when hiking. His favourite part of the trip for sure.

Making the most out of the weekend!

Civil engineer with a lot of interests like traveling, food, taking care for my plants, running and hiking! Currently living in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Always up for a coffee date, usually stolling around citycenter, most happy when there's time for a walk in the woods after work hours. In love with my two boys - one of them walking on four legs and wiggling with a tawny tail.
