Hills around our Vipava Valley may not be as high as the Alps or the Karawanks, but they continue to impress me every time I hike up there. On a bright sunny day, the views over the Valley are beautiful and Saturday afternoon looked just like that – it was windy and the sky was so clear. We hiked to Kucelj via Srednječavenska path with Oto and Mendi and enjoyed the paths on the Čaven plateau a lot! Hidden in the pine forest, they are so charming and peaceful. All you can hear are birds singing and the wind rustling through the trees …
