Afterwork hikes to Šmarna and Rašica in Ljubljana are great, but we have really missed a proper day hike in the mountains and were very excited when we finally parked our car in Tolminske Ravne. Path through the woods to the Planina Razor was quickly behind us, so we continued to the summit of Vogel mountain and hiked the ridge to Globoko Predel, making it a round trip back to Razor. Could not recommend this trip enough! The views are stunning and even on a hot summer day, the path is breezy and so much fun. Go and thank me later.
