It seems as we’ve skipped a season here on BWT blog! After a great start of a hiking autumn last year, lockdown vol. II hit hard. And although it felt dull at times, we actually had a nice winter and a very lovely Christmas that still keeps my heart warm. But to sum it up, besides the pile of books I’ve read and the loaves of sourdough I’ve baked, there’s little to show. We’re definitely ready for the spring! Mountain tops are still covered in snow, so we might keep our hikes at lower altitudes for a while, revisiting favorite places such as Otliško Okno above Vipava Valley.
