After a few days of heavy snowing, Ljubljana – and pretty much all other parts of Slovenia as well – is once again covered in white. Unfortunately, I’m stuck at the desk with some work, so we only got to enjoy in little walks around the city. As our vizsla is short coated, we let him play in heaps of snow only for a short time anyway …

It’s sort of a granny hobby, I know, but I can’t help myself – I love my plants! I’ve been collecting plants for years and the number of them in our flat is constantly growing – even more so since I started growing them from cuttings and seeds. I would hardly squeeze them all in one photo. There are pots with green beauties sitting everywhere …

Food lovers as we are, I simply must write a little something about all the amazing food we had while on our summer holidays. We love to eat good – and that we did! We ate well out and also when cooking in the camp. We missed a proper grill this year around, but managed to make yummy sea-food in our huge pan. I also loved all the salads …

Snow is finally here and every year I get excited to sled, make a snowman, play snow wars with snow balls, ski and snowboard … snow is so much fun! Our skiing holidays in Italy are a week away, but while counting down the days, we had to make the most out of the first snow this winter and decided to go sledding with our dogs and cousin Lara. We had such a great time!

Christmas is over and I cannot believe this year’s waving us goodbye. It was a great year, full of ups and downs but overall a one to remember. It was a special year for “our pack” as well – we got to spend our first skiing holidays with our vizsla boy, went camping in Istria and Dalmatia, celebrated Oto’s 1st b-day and so much more …
