The extended weekend that’s almost behind us was perfect for some hiking around our Vipava Valley. Although hills around the Valley are not really high, they still offer amazing views reaching Trzaski Zaliv and further. We hiked Mount Kucelj from village Vrtovin yesterday. We thaught it would be easier but the path is quite chalenging and steep – elevation gain is almost 1000 m – so it was exhausting. However, an amazing panoramic view is waiting for you on the top, that’s covered with wild flowers. And it pays off, big time.
